One of the most useful things Teach Anything gives you is a window into what your students are actually asking. Every conversation with your assistant is saved in an anonymized form so you can review it later.

## What you can see

**The full exchange**

Read each question a student asked and exactly how the assistant answered.

**The sources used**

See which of your materials the assistant drew on for each answer.

**Search and sort**

Look for a topic, a keyword, or sort by most recent to find what you need.

**Browse by page**

Page through the history when there's a lot of activity.

## Why it's worth your time

Reading conversations tells you things a syllabus can't:

1. **Spot common confusion**

    If ten students ask the same thing, that's a topic to revisit in class or
    add to your materials.

2. **Catch gaps in your materials**

    If the assistant often says "that isn't in the course materials," you've
    found something worth uploading.

3. **Check answer quality**

    Skim answers to make sure the tone and accuracy match what you want. If they
    don't, adjust the
    [instructions](/instructors/customize#the-instructions-field).

## Quiz results show up here too

When a student asks the assistant to quiz them, the quiz shows up right inside their conversation, so you can see how they did while you review.

See the multiple-choice questions the assistant generated from your
materials.

**What the student picked**

Each question shows the answer they chose and whether it was right.

**Their score**

See how many they got right out of the total.

**Every attempt**

If a student retook the quiz, each attempt is recorded.

Quiz results are also included when you [export chat records](/instructors/export-chat-records), so you can pull them alongside the rest of the conversation.

## A note on student privacy

Conversations are visible in an anonymized form to you as the instructor so you can improve your course. Let your students know their questions may be reviewed anonymously, and treat what you read with the same care you'd give any student communication.
